Executive Committee Meetings

Executive Committee meetings take place annually, and are attended by the Executive Committee and delegates of the National Societies. The next Executive Committee meeting and conference will take place in Dublin, August 27th-31st 2008. Details on the meeting and accommodation are available here:

The conference on August 29th is on the theme of 'Ancients and Moderns in the Eighteenth Century'. If any ISECS members would like to attend the one-day conference, please contact Andrew Carpenter (andrew.carpenter@ucd.ie).

International Congresses

International congresses take place every 4 years attracting between 600 and 1,200 participants.

The twelfth congress, on the topic of Science and Technology in the Eighteenth Century, was held in Montpellier in 2007.

Abstracts are available online from the eleventh Congress (Los Angeles 2003) and the tenth Congress (Dublin 1999).
