Executive Committee MeetingsExecutive Committee meetings take place annually, and are attended by the Executive Committee and delegates of the National Societies. The conference on August 29th is on the theme of 'Ancients and Moderns in the Eighteenth Century'. If any ISECS members would like to attend the one-day conference, please contact Andrew Carpenter (andrew.carpenter@ucd.ie). International CongressesInternational congresses take place every 4 years attracting between 600 and 1,200 participants. The twelfth congress, on the topic of Science and Technology in the Eighteenth Century, was held in Montpellier in 2007.
